Ragdolls in flash used to be merely a sandbox type game where you would play around with the doll, with no real purpose to the game. Now we are able to enjoy actual ragdoll games with an purpose, other than throwing the doll around and watching it's invidual parts move around as it hits various objects. Online games have incorporated the physics into games in different ways depends on what type of game it is.

Some games like Ragdoll Parashooter allow give the player the task of launching missiles at invading soldiers, each of which react with the physics properties of a regualr ragdoll. Other games use the doll in a puzzle type format, such as elements and Physics. In this game you must remove shapes by clicking on them, in an attempt to let the doll fall into some kind of worm hole. It's quite easy at first, but in later levels you will need to think things through a bit more in order to complete the task.
